Gangs and the ACLU–A Perfect Combination

Monday, March 28th, 2005

Today, the Washington Times reported that the Central American gang Mara Salvatrucha (aka “MS-13″) will target the American citizens who are going to take part in the Minuteman Project. Here’s the purpose of the Minuteman Project:

It is a call to peacefully assemble at the Arizona-Mexico border to bring national awareness to the decades-long careless disregard of effective U.S. immigration law enforcement. It is a reminder to Americans that our nation was founded as a nation governed by the “rule of law”, not by the whims of mobs of ILLEGAL aliens who endlessly stream across U.S. borders.
Accordingly, the men and women volunteering for this mission are those who are willing to sacrifice their time, and the comforts of a cozy home, to muster for something much more important than acquiring more “toys” to play with while their nation is devoured and plundered by the menace of tens of millions of invading illegal aliens.
Future generations will inherit a tangle of rancorous, unassimilated, squabbling cultures with no common bond to hold them together, and a certain guarantee of the death of this nation as a harmonious “melting pot.”

Funny, the ACLU announced that they would send “monitors” make sure the American volunteers don’t break the law (i.e., don’t catch any illegals).

Street gangs and ACLU–Now that’s a match made in hell.

As for the Minutemen, God speed. I hope you shed some needed light and attention on the masses of illegals that trampel over our borders, break our laws, and defy our sovereignty.

Slippery Slope of Same-sex Marriage

Saturday, March 26th, 2005

The advocates of same-sex marriage (ACLU, Lambda Legal et al.) consistently argue that enacting legislation that would allow gays to marry would not create a fire-sale on marriage relationships. In other words, gay marriage does not mean that States must recognize other non-traditional couplings like incest or polygamy. Marriage is elastic but only for gays and lesbians. Yeah, . . . and Bill Clinton is a man of integrity.

Here’s the slippery slope.

The Nightmarish Impetus of Same-sex Marriage

Saturday, March 19th, 2005

Yes . . . I’m FINALLY back . . . and so are the liberal judges who desire to impose same-sex marriage by fiat.

In California, a superior court judge ruled that California’s law defining marriage between man and a woman is unconstitutional. The decision is an absurdity, the culling of illogical hyperbole into a blathering opinion that takes away the rights of the people who enacted (via elected state representatives) traditional marriage into law in order to protect and preserve it.

I’m not going to delve into all the argument pro or con, but one statement the judge made is deeply troubling–the idea that same-sex couples can procreate. Quoth the liberal California judge:

To be precise, same-sex couples can cause procreation. A female capable of producing children can be married to another female and become pregnant through various methods, then produce and raise the child in her same-sex union. Similarly, a same-sex male couple could cause a female to become pregnant directly or otherwise, and later adopt and raise the child.

Really? I thought that it takes a male and female to procreate? Take the sentences one-by-one. “A female capable of producing children can be married to another female and become pregnant through various methods, then produce and raise the child in her same-sex union.” Notice that the “female” has to do something outside uniting with her female partner in order for pregnancy to occur, whether it be artifical insemination or impregnation by a male. “[A ] same-sex male couple could cause a female to become pregnant directly or otherwise, and later adopt and raise the child.” Again, the “same-sex male couple” has to go outside their sodomistic union in order to procreate, i.e., impregnate a female.

Even the most stalwart gay defender of them all, Andrew Sullivan, recently admitted that gays and lesbians do not procreate.

This stretching or twisting of words to make the case for same-sex marriage is becoming more and more the modis operandi of liberal courts who desire to thrust upon every State gay marriage. It’s dispicable, undemocratic, and plain wrong. Hopefully, their illogical arguments will catch up to them. One can only hope.
